MULING patutunayan ng Armscor, nangungunang gun and ammunition manufacturer sa bansa, na hindi na kailangan pang mag-angkat ng imported na mga baril para sa kapulisan at militar dahil matatagpuan sa bansa ang maipagmamalaking world-class na mga baril.

Iginiit ni Martin Tuason, president and CEO ng Armscor Global Defense, Inc., na makikita ng sambayanan ng libre ang iba’t ibang armas na gawa ng kompanya sa gaganaping Tactical, Survival and Arms Expo: Defense, Security and Survival Show for Sustainable Living sa Pebrero 22-25 sa SMX Convention Center, 3rd level ng SM Aura Premier sa Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

“The expo aims to address global issues on environment, economic uncertainty, security threats and the like. We’re inviting everybody to come to personally check the best guns available in the market today. We also line-up seminars about survival during calamity and exhibition about self-defense,” pahayag ni Tuason.

Ibinida ni Tuason na mahigit 30,000 bala na gawa ng Armscor ang nagamit ng Armed Forces of the Philippines sa pagsugpo ng banta ng terorista sa Marawi City at ilang operasyon sa Mindanao.

‘Right, now we’re lobbying in Congress and talks and now in the offing with the government to support the manufacturing of local guns. The gum-making industry badly needs the support of the government,” said Tuason, whose company employed more than 2,000 workers.

Makikita rin sa TACS Expo ang traditional weapons, survival gear, firearms and accessories.

“It is high time that a unique show such as this be held in country. TACS Expo, which focuses on involvement of various manufacturers and their representatives, will be an avenue to reach out to everyone and create awareness on how to prepare for emergency and life threatening situations. And of course.. admission to the expo is FREE with on-line pre-registration,” pahayag ni Mr. Severo ‘Conkoy’ Tuason, Armscor Chairman of the Board.

Bukod sa nakamamanghang armament na makikita sa expo,sinabi ni Tuason na makaka-availed din ang mga participants ng libreng seminar sa emergency responde, sa pamamagitan ni Capt. Joebert Tolentino, Chief Training and Response Officer, Disaster and Emergency Responders International at Ms. Ericka Fernandez ng Kalis Illustrisimo.
