Para kay Top Rank big boss Bob Arum, lalong nakagulo ang resulta ng pagrepaso ng World Boxing Organization (WBO) sa laban nina eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao at bagong WBO welterweight titlist Jeff Horn.

“First of all they didn’t [rule] that Jeff Horn clearly won the fight. They (WBO) had five judges scoring the fight:

three had Horn winning narrowly, one had it at draw, one had Pacquiao winning,” sabi ni Arum sa BoxingScene.com.

'Pikon daw?' UAAP fan na nag-dirty finger, agaw-eksena sa San Juan Arena!

“Well it doesn’t settle anything. It was a very close fight. It could have been scored either way,” diin ni Arum. “I had Manny winning the fight by one point, but you know when it gets that close, the fight can go either way.”

Hiniling ni Arum kay Pacquiao na magpasiya kung gusto pa niya ng rematch kay Horn o magretiro na lamang para maasikaso ang karera bilang Senador.

“Manny has to decide what he wants to do in the future and we’ll take it from there. I will see whether he really wants to do a rematch, whether he wants to continue boxing, or whether because of his senatorial duty, he is unable to continue,” dagdag ni Arum na hinhinalang nagmaniobra para manalo si Horn na kabilang na sa kanyang boxing stable.

Iginiit naman ni Pacquiao na nasa pagpapasiya na ng boxing fans kung sino ang nanalo sa PacHorn bout.

“Let the people judge for themselves. People saw what happened,” ayon sa pahayag ni Pacquiao. “We have seen worse judgements in the past where judges manipulated results. Nothing surprises me now.”
