ANG gandang basahin ng comments at reactions ng mga nakabasa sa inamin ni Paolo Bediones via Instagram na may psoriasis siya. Walang nega comment, walang nam-bash, inintindi si Paolo at pinalakas ang loob na harapin ang kanyang sakit.

“I HAVE PSORIASIS. Don’t worry it;s a non communicable skin disorder. It is NOT CONTAGIOUS. It’s a chronic disease characterized by incessant itching and scratching. Occasional bleeding and scabbing/ Reddening of the skin and flaking. Yes, we love to leave an impression. It’s not pretty, for sure, but in my case, I hid it well.”
May nilaktawan kaming post ni Paolo at itinuloy namin ang sinabi niya.
“Everyday we have to mentally prepare ourselves before we go out into the world.
“Each one of us insecure, knowing someone will notice the discoloured patch of skin or the white flakes. Knowing someone would like to ask about it, but feel uncomfortable doing so. Ask us about it and we will glady share with you.
“If you, a family member, ot a friend share these symptoms, please see a specialist and learn about the various forms of treatment that exists.
“If you know anyone with psoriasis, hug them.
“If you see me on the street, hug me:).”
Marami ang nagpadala ng virtual hug kay Paolo dahil sa confession niya. Ang maganda pa sa pag-o-open up niya ay ang maraming suggestion kung paano maiiwasang mag-flare up ang psoriasis, kung ano ang dapat at iwasang kainin. May suggestions din ng gamot at kung saan mabibili.
Siguradong maraming nakuha at nadiskubreng treatment sa kanyang sakit si Paolo just by reading the comments.
