IPINAHAYAG ng National Basketball Association (NBA) nitong Linggo ang pagdalo nina Steven Adams ng Oklahoma City Thunder, dating NBA coach Reggie Theus, at ang Laker Girls sa gaganaping NBA 3X Philippines sa Hulyo 22-23 sa SM Mall of Asia Music Hall. Bukas na ang pagpapatala ng lahok sa NBA 3X Philippines sa first-come first-serve basis sa www.nba3x.com/philippines at magtatagal hanggang Hulyo 14.

Ang NBA 3X Philippines ay 3-on-3 tournament sa men’s and women’s teams. Magsisimula ang aksiyon sa preliminary tournament sa Hulyo 15-16 sa Don Bosco Technical Institute Makati para mapili ang maglalaban sa Finals.

Magsasagawa rin ng NBA Cares basketball clinic para sa kabataang 10-14-year-old sa indoor court ng Polytechnic University of the Philippines College of Engineering sa Hulyo 19.
