UNITED NATIONS (PNA) – Nanawagan si UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon noong Lunes ng full global disarmament sa pagharap ng mundo sa tumitinding panganib ng nuclear weapons at mga tensyon.
“Let us pledge to work for the total elimination of nuclear weapons with urgency and a sense of collective purpose.
Our very survival depends upon it,” mensahe ni Ban para markahan ang International Day for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons, na taun-taong inoobserba tuwing Setyembre 26.
“Disarmament is in our DNA,” diin niya.
