Lumihis na kahapon sa Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) ang isang low pressure area (LPA) na namataan sa labas ng bansa.

Sa inilabas na report ng Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), ang nabanggit na LPA ay namataang patungo sa direksiyon ng China.

“It is moving northward and is no longer expected to enter the Philippine area of responsibility,” ayon naman kay Senior Weather Specialist Gener Quitlong ng PAGASA.

Inaasahan na ng ahensiya na malulusaw ang naturang sama ng panahon sa loob ng 24-48 oras.

Huling namataan ang LPA sa layong 970 kilometro kanluran ng Itbayat, Batanes.

“The southwest monsoon that has brought rains over western Luzon since Thursday has weakened. The effect of the southwest monsoon or habagat has weakened but is still expected to bring occasional light to moderate rains with isolated thunderstorms over Palawan,” babala pa ng PAGASA.
