Generoso Cerbo, Jr., hepe ng Directorate for Intelligence; at Chief Superintendents Renier Idio, Bernardo Diaz, at Ronald Santos.
“(That is) electioneering and partisan political activity being done by members, active members of the PNP,” sinabi ni Escudero sa mga mamamahayag nang tanungin siya tungkol sa ihahain niyang reklamo.
“I don’t know the exact penalty but there is, because that’s considered an election offense,” ani Escudero, na katambal ng presidentiable na si Sen. Grace Poe.
“We’ve been hearing it for so long that members of the PNP are having an active part in the elections. Maybe it was only then that they were caught on camera at that hotel,” pagpapatuloy ni Escudero.
“According to PNP Chief (Director General Ricardo) Marquez, if a police officer is faced with a complaint, he would relieve that official like what he did to the Chief of police in a town in Abra. Then, if that’s the case, we will file a complaint against these policemen that were seen having a meeting with former Secretary Mar Roxas’ staff,” dagdag pa ng senador.
(Hannah L. Torregoza)
