Hinimok ng Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines– Episcopal Commission on the Youth (CBCP-ECY) ang kabataan na suportahan ang “Alay Kapwa” fund-raising program sa kanilang mga parokya.
“The Holy Year of Mercy is an invitation to perform corporal works of mercy, to show compassion towards others especially those who have less in life. We have all the opportunity to show this mercy and compassion by way of supporting the Church’s ‘Alay Kapwa’ campaign,” apela ni Rev. Fr. Conegundo B. Garganta, executive secretary ng CBCP-ECY.
Ang mga pondong malilikom ng lokal na simbahan ay gagamitin para tulungan ang mga lugar na tinamaan ng kalamidad at suportahan ang social services sa mahihirap. (Christina I. Hermoso)
