“The Philippine National Police (PNP) provided an initial assessment of the nationwide observance of Labor Day as of 9:00 AM today, reporting that activities remain generally peaceful and orderly, with no major untoward incidents recorded across monitored areas,”  saad ng PNP sa kanilang pahayag

“Initial reports show that at least nine rallies were held in different parts of the country, drawing an estimated 3,410 participants. Of these, eight are ongoing while one has already concluded. Activities largely centered on labor-related concerns, including wage adjustments, fuel prices, and worker protection, reflecting the continuing dialogue between sectors on socio-economic issues,” dagdag pa nila.

“To ensure public safety, more than 106,000 police personnel were deployed nationwide, supported by force multipliers and partner agencies. Police presence has been focused on maintaining visibility, managing traffic, securing key entry points, and ensuring orderly conduct of public assemblies. Coordination with rally organizers remains active to uphold the right to peaceful assembly while keeping communities safe,” pagtitiyak ng PNP.

“The PNP will remain on full alert throughout the day. Patuloy kaming nakaantabay—not just to ensure security, but to support the safe and peaceful expression of our people’s concerns.” ani PNP Chief, Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., sa nasabing pahayag.
