BEIJING (Reuters) – Nagpahayag ng pagkaalarma ang China nitong Huwebes kaugnay sa kasunduan na ipapagamit ng Japan ang limang eroplano nito sa Pilipinas para makatulong sa pagpapatrulya sa pinagtatalunang South China Sea/West Philippine Sea.
Sinabi ni Pangulong Benigno S. Aquino III na tutulong ang limang TC-90 training aircraft sa pagpapatrulya ng navy sa teritoryo ng Pilipinas.
“If the Philippines’ actions are to challenge China’s sovereignty and security interests, China is resolutely opposed,” pahayag ni Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei sa daily news briefing.
“I also want to point out that Japan is not a party to the South China Sea issue and we are on high guard against its moves. We demand that Japan speak and act cautiously and not do anything to harm regional peace and stability.”
