Isinusulong ng Buhay Party-List representatives, sa pangunguna ni Rep. Jose L. Atienza, na masakop ng Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) ang lahat ng may kapansanan o persons with disabilities (PWD).
Kasama ni Atienza sa pag-aakda ng House Bill 6240 sina Mariano Michael M. Velarde Jr. at Irwin C. Tieng. Sinususugan ng panukala ang Republic Act 7277 o “Magna Carta for Disabled Persons.”
“There are many PWDs left on their own and, or their families to shoulder their medical and health needs, which many of us experience similar predicament,” giit ni Atienza. (Bert de Guzman)
