“Floyd Mayweather Jr. has agreed to fight Manny Pacquiao...multiple sources tell TMZ Sports ... who say the two finally came to an agreement moments ago. The two sides had been trying to hammer out a deal for a while to square off at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on May 2nd,” ayon sa ulat. “Manny had agreed to his contract weeks ago ... and it was all up to Floyd to sign on the dotted line. But now, after meeting in person at the Miami Heat game earlier this week ... we’re told it’s a done deal .. and the two sides will make a formal announcement in the coming days.”

“I think it helped a lot because we were all putting papers together, and there was still a question as to whether Floyd really wanted to do the fight or not,” sinabi ni Arum sa BoxingScene.com. “Based on the meeting with Pacquiao in the hotel suite, Manny and [Pacquiao adviser] Michael Koncz were convinced Floyd absolutely wants to do the fight.”

“I don’t want to talk about it (deadline) anymore. If it happens, it happens; if it don’t happen, it don’t happen. As long as it takes, we’re not gonna set (deadlines) or cast it in stone,” paliwanag ni Koncz sa Spin.ph. “We’ve established a good relationship with Floyd. I expect that something will be done sooner, I am not concerned with deadlines.”
