“If it (Pacquiao-Mayweather bout) doesn’t happen, I think it will be disappointing for the whole world. I like to give the fans what they want. I like good fights just like everyone else in the world. Let’s hope it happens,” ani Roach. “If another fight comes along, we’re not just going to sit here and wait for this guy. Activity if very important. I just don’t know who’s next. The pool is shallow. We don’t have a lot of choices out there.”
“I do hear (Khan’s) name and so forth. They have boxed in the gym before. Khan does well early and Manny does well late. It’s a very interesting fight, but the thing is I think there are a couple of better opponents out there,” dagdag ni Roach. “I like Danny Garcia because he’s a game guy, he comes to fight, he’s a good puncher, he can knock you out with one punch, he’s dangerous - I think that’s a better fight. Amir Khan is just fast and I think he would run from Manny a little bit too much and it would be boring.”
