Sa kanyang ikalawang laban mula nang magbalik sa boksing, haharapin ni one-time world title challenger Denver Cuello si dating Indonesian flyweight champion Samuel Tehuayo na mas kilala dati bilang “Sammy Hagler” sa Nobyembre 30 sa Angono, Rizal.
Ayon sa promoter ni Cuello na si Aljoe Jaro, kailangang impresibong manalo ang matagal na naging WBC No. 1 contender sa minimumweight division na nawala lamang sa world rankings matapos maoperahan ang napinsalang balikat.
“Cuello made a successful return last October after being away for more than a year when he had surgery on his injured shoulder,” ayon sa ulat ng Philboxing.com. ”He stopped Jaipetch Chaiyonggym in seven rounds in a fight held in Davao City.”
“Cuello came up short in his attempt to wrest the WBC strawweight world title from then champion Xiong Zhao Zhong of China last June 28, 2013 in Dubai,” dagdag sa ulat. “Denver suffered the injury during the bout and lost by majority decision.”
