Naglabas ng pahayag ang Department of Education (DepEd) ng kanilang pag-unawa umano sa alalahanin ng mga guro, stakeholders, at mambabatas sa inanunsyo nilang Trimester System.
Ayon sa Facebook post ng DepEd sa nitong Martes, Pebrero 17, 2026, sinabi niyang naiintindihan daw nila ang mga alalahanin ng mga guro, mambabatas at iba pa dahil sineseryoso raw nila ang mga structural reform at mga isyu sa sistema ng basic education.
“The Department of Education (DepEd) acknowledges the concerns raised by our legislators, teachers, and stakeholders,” pagsisimula nila.
Dagdag pa niya, “We take these views seriously as we acknowledge that structural reform and systemic issues, such as classroom shortage and teacher welfare, are not mutually exclusive.”

Anang DepEd, nananatili pa rin naman daw na proposal ang inilahad nilang trimester system.
“The trimester system remains a proposal, and no final decision has been made. DepEd is actively conducting consultations and will continue engaging education officials and stakeholders in the coming days to ensure that all voices are heard and considered,” saad nila.
Depensa ng DepEd, layunin raw ng proposal sa trimester system na suportahan ang mas malawak pa na reporma na nagpapasimple sa pagpaplano, pagpapaganda pa ng academic time, at pagbabawas ng “pressure” sa mga guro.
“The intent of the proposal is to support broader reforms that simplify planning, improve the use of academic time, and reduce workload pressures on teachers,” ‘ika nila.
“DepEd remains committed to refining the proposal based on feedback from the field. Our priority is that any reform must strengthen learning continuity while improving conditions for both learners and educators,” pagtatapos pa nila.
