Bumati at nakiisa si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr., sa pagdiriwang ng mga Filipino-Chinese community ng Lunar New Year bilang bagong panahon umano ng pagbabago para sa lahat.
Ayon sa inilabas na pahayag ng Palasyo at inupload ng Office of the President sa kanilang Facebook page nitong Martes, Pebrero 17, 2026, sinabi ni PBBM na nakikiisa siya sa pagsalubong ng Year of the Fire Horse sa simula ng Lunar New Year.
“I join all Filipinos as we welcome the Year of the Fire Horse with the coming of the Lunar New Year,” pagsisimula niya.

Ani PBBM, tungkol daw ang “Horse” sa pagkilos, katapangan, at pagpapatuloy habang tungkol naman sa dedikasyon para tumanggi sa pangkaraniwan nang takbo ng buhay ang ibig sabihin ng elementong “Fire.”
Ngunit hindi raw basta maisusulong ng ganitong mga simbolo ang pag-unlad ng bansa kundi dahil na rin umano sa dedikasyon ng bawat Pilipino na magtrabaho.
“The Horse is often read as a sign of movement, courage, and forward motion while the Fire element suggests a spark that refuses to settle for the usual pace. These symbols convey great meaning for many among us but the nation does not advance on symbolism alone,” aniya.
Dagdag pa niya, “It progresses when Filipinos show up for work, when households make every peso count with prudence and good judgment, and when [the] government and industries keep the country growing through consistent service, sound decisions, and the rigor that turns daily effort into long-term growth.”
Anang Pangulo, panahon daw ng pagbabago at pagbubukas ng mga bagong oportunidad ang Lunar New Year sa bawat Pilipino para sa hangaring magkaisa.
“For many Filipinos, the Lunar New Year is a season of renewal. It is a time when households, communities, and businesses set priorities, execute plans, and focus on what truly sustains them,” saad niya.
“Across generations, we have come to see prosperity as something we cultivate: built by everyday work, guided by discipline, and multiplied when it creates jobs and supports initiatives that hold our people together,” ‘ika pa niya.
Nagawa pang hikayatin ni PBBM ang taumbayan na tahakin ang wastong direksyon para sa paghahatid ng totoong resulta sa pagbuo ng mas pinalakas na “Bagong Pilipinas.”
“I invite all Filipinos to move with purposeful haste-swift when necessary; measured when it matters most. Momentum can be energizing, but direction is what truly delivers results,” mungkahi niya.
“Let us protect what is essential such as fair opportunity and reliable public services, while enhancing productivity, stronger value chains, and communities that never leave the vulnerable behind. If we keep our course firm and our standards high, we can shape a more prosperous, agile, and empowered Bagong Pilipinas,” diin pa niya.
“I wish everyone a spirited, bountiful, and rewarding year ahead,” pagtatapos ng Pangulo.
