Masayang ibinahagi ni “Philippines’ Queen of Soul” Jaya na siya ay muling makikipag-isang dibdib sa kaniyang mister na si Gary Gotidoc, dalawang dekada matapos ang una nilang kasal.
Sa social media post na ibinahagi ni Jaya nitong Biyernes, Pebrero 13, inilahad niyang siya ay sinurpresa ng kaniyang asawa—kasama ang malalapit nilang mga kaibigan.
“So we just got engaged [on] February 8 in Colorado Springs. My husband Gary, surprised me together with our friends by The Garden of the Gods. Whaaaat??? I really had no idea he was going to do this. We were married by a judge in 2006 while I was 6months pregnant. But we both wanted to do a simple church wedding this year. So I guess he really had to propose,” saad ni Jaya.
Ipinaabot din ng singer ang kaniyang pasasalamat sa Diyos at sa asawa, matapos ang muling pagpo-propose nito. Ani Jaya, alam naman nitong “yes” ang kaniyang magiging sagot.
“Honey, thank you for asking me and you know I will always say YES! I thank the Lord for keeping us together all these 20 years. Now we will get to do this under kingdom alignment and give each other our vows, for real! With Jesus Christ in the center, our children and dear friends, we can finally say I do and I will!!! I love you forever my love,” anang singer.
“Thanks to our dear friends Conrad & Ethel Clemente and Ace & Kris Carandang for planning with Gary. And thank God Seattle Seahawks won the Super Bowl!!! That truly made my husband crazy happy!!! We love you guys,” pagtatapos niya.
Kasalukuyang nakabase sa Estados Unidos ang mag-asawang Jaya at Gary—na siyang biniyayaan ng dalawang anak na sina Sabriya at Dylan.
