“Rest in Peace, Sander Severino. We remember Sander Severino, a Filipino athlete, FIDE Master, and multi-awarded Philippine para chess athlete whose brilliance and dedication brought pride to the nation,” anang NCDA.

Dagdag pa nila, “He claimed five gold medals at the Asian Para Games and added another five golds at the ASEAN Para Games earlier this year, contributing to Team Philippines’ historic best record of 45 gold medals. A native of Silay, Negros Occidental, Sander also made history as the inaugural champion of the International Physically Disabled Chess Association (IPCA) World Online Chess Rapid Championship.”

“Your legacy lives on through every move, every victory, and every life you inspired. Maraming salamat sa karangalan at inspirasyon,” anila.
