“No one wants to silence you, and no one should be silenced. But freedom of speech is NOT a license to recklessly defame or attack others, let alone the head of state of another country—this is completely unacceptable,” saad ni Chinese Embassy Deputy Spokesperson Guo Wei sa kanilang Facebook page noong Biyernes, Enero 23, 2026.

“I rise today in defense of dignity—our national dignity,” pagsisimula niya.
Dagdag pa niya, “Spokesperson of the Chinese embassy recently lectured Filipinos and worst—Philippine officials on the limits of freedom of speech. We are told that criticizing the foreign head of state is completely unacceptable.”
“Let me say this then, Mr. President. If you do not like how democracy works in this country then you are free to leave the Philippines,” aniya.
Direktang saad niya pa, “Get the fuck out.”
“This is our house.
“To the Chinese embassy officials, you do not have the moral authority to lecture Filipinos about freedom of speech because freedom of speech does not exist in your country,” pagkukumpara niya.
“It is not practice, it is not protected, it is punished. So do not export censorship to a nation that fought, bled, and died to be free,” pagtatapos pa niya.
