“Yung pinag-shoot n’yo kami ng Region 1 to Region 13… almost 320 tourist spot. 236,000 photos. 6,500 video materials.

"Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We understand the public’s interest and feedback on our publications. We have raised this concern to our head for review regarding the cover page of the DOT’s free magazine to ensure that all content aligns with our standards and objectives. We value constructive feedback as it helps us improve our communications and better serve the public," natanggap na tugon ng Balita noong Disyembre 29, sa pamamagitan ng isa sa mga email na makikita sa opisyal na Facebook page ng DOT.
ERRATUM: As of 1:14 PM ng Disyembre 31, muling nakatanggap ng tugon ang Balita mula sa nasabing email.
“We would like to issue an erratum and clarification regarding the previous email response you received. The earlier message mistakenly stated that the publication in question was the Department of Tourism’s free magazine. Upon verification, we confirm this is not the case,” mababasa sa email.
“We likewise clarify that no clearance was sought from the Department prior to the issuance of the said response. The initial email reply did not originate from, nor was it cleared, approved, or authorized by the Department.”
“For guidance, the Tourist Assistance Call Center (TACC) is a third-party service provider engaged solely to handle general tourism inquiries and frontline assistance. As such, communications issued by the TACC reflect its operational handling of inquiries and do not constitute official statements, positions, or policies of the Department of Tourism. Most importantly, only statements formally released through the DOT’s official channels and authorized offices represent the Department’s official position.”
“Please be assured that your concern has already been forwarded to the DOT’s Office of Strategic Communication and Public Affairs for appropriate review and action,” anila pa.
