Nagbitiw sa puwesto si Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) Commissioner Rossana Fajardo matapos manilbihan sa nasabing ahensya mula noong Setyembre.
Ayon sa ipinadalang resignation letter ni Fajardo sa ICI nitong Biyernes, Disyembre 26, sinabi niyang magiging epektibo ang kaniyang pagbibitiw sa darating na Disyembre 31, 2025.
“Since my appointment in September 2025, I have been committed to advancing the Commission's objectives, particularly in the areas of financial oversight and infrastructure project investigations,” pagsisimula niya.
Ani Fajardo, nagawa na raw niya ang mga trabaho ang kaniyang tungkulin sa pangongolekta ng mga ebidensya, work plans, at pangunguna sa imbestigasyon sa maanomalyang infrastructure projects.

Naniniwala si Fajardo na dapat na raw ipasa ang investigative at prosecutorial responsibilities ng ICI sa imbestigasyon ng mga maanomalyang infrastructure projects sa Department of Justice (DOJ) at Office of the Ombudsman.
“I believe that the investigative and prosecutorial responsibilities will now transition to other agencies, such as the Department of Justice and the Office of the Ombudsman, which are better positioned to ensure accountability for contractors and government officials,” saad niya.
Paliwanag pa ni Fajardo, “with the recent prioritization of bills for the creation of the Independent Commission Against Infrastructure Corruption and the Independent People's Commission, a permanent Commission with enhanced powers will be more effective in supporting the Ombudsman's office in prosecuting parties involved in irregular government infrastructure projects.”
Sa kabila, nagawa ng magpasalamat ni Fajardo sa mga indibidwal na nakasama niyang magserbisyo sa ICI para magsulong na transparency at accountability para sa taumbayan.
