Naiuwi ni Chelsea Fernandez ang korona sa pagka-1st Runner Up sa Miss Cosmo 2025 Grand Finale & Beauty Music Festival noong Sabado, Disyembre 20, na ginanap sa Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
“With grace, confidence, and unwavering determination, Chelsea embodies the spirit of modern beauty through resilience, authenticity, and inner strength,” ito ang naging pagbati ng Miss Cosmo International sa kanilang social media bilang pagkilala sa pageant journey ni Chelsea.
Bukod pa sa 1st runner-up crown, inuwi rin ni Chelsea ang Cosmo People’s Choice, kung saan may higit siyang 28.3 milyong boto.
Sa kaniyang winning answer sa Q and A portion, confident siyang nanindigan na kaya rin ng kababaihan na manguna at maging dulot ng pagbabago sa lipunan, sa kabila ng mga limitadong oportunidad, nang tanungin kung ano ang mindset na gusto niyang baguhin tungkol sa kababaihan ng modernong panahon.

“It would be [that] women are not leaders. That’s not true. We, women, have that innate value of leadership. However, sometimes, we are not given opportunities, spaces, and chances. And as Ms. Cosmo who ignites change, I would like to empower every woman to immerse herself in activities that can enrich her skills so we can move forward, because we women can stand on our own, and women can also have it all,” ani Chelsea.
Sa final showdown naman niya kay Yolina Lindquist, ng USA, ibinida ni Chelsea ang adbokasiya niyang “Paradise of the Mangroves Reforestation Project” na layong mag-promote ng paglago sa kalikasan at ekonomiya ng bansa sa pamamagitan ng pagtatanim ng mga halaman.
“[The] Philippines is a home to more than 7,000 beautiful islands. However, that beauty comes with an ugly truth. We face stream flooding, harsh calamities, and natural disasters. That’s why my advocacy, ‘Paradise of the Mangroves Reforestation Project’ aims to address both natural and economic problems. With this action plan, we are planning to plant 5,000 propagules in one hectare, and that would be set in the municipality of Libac province of Sultan Kudarat, Philippines, " saad ni Chelsea.
“With this, I believe that the economic growth will definitely go up to 20 to 30 percent in just one year. And I hope [that] you continue to support me in this mission, because I believe that [even] the little seeds that we plant today will grow into a forest of change tomorrow,” dagdag pa niya.
Sa kaugnay na ulat, si Lindquist ang nakoronahan bilang Miss Cosmo 2025.
Matatandaang proud na ibinida ni Chelsea ang kaniyang Maranao Sarimanok-inspired noong costume competition portion ng pageant noong Disyembre 7, kung saan nakapasok siya sa Top 17.
