“The MMDA expresses its full support to the decision of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. in his trust for Gen. Torre, whose extensive experience in public service and law enforcement is expected to further strengthen the MMDA’s mandate in traffic management and public safety, among others, across Metro Manila,” saad ng MMDA.

"Gen. Torre is a welcome addition to the MMDA family. I am sure he will be a big help to the agency," saad ni Artes.

“The MMDA likewise extends its sincere appreciation to former General Manager Procopio Lipana for his dedication and valuable contributions to MMDA for more than three years, which helped advance key programs and institutional reforms in the agency,” pagkilala ng MMDA.

“The MMDA remains committed to continuing its mission of ensuring safe, efficient, and orderly mobility and development in Metro Manila with the appointment of Gen. Torre,” pagtitiyak ng MMDA sa publiko.

Matatandaang sinibak bilang PNP Chief si Torre noong Agosto nitong taon kung saan ayon kay Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Sec. Jonvic Remulla, naging mahirap ang desisyon para kay Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
