Nag-alay si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ng kaniyang tribute sa pagpanaw ni dating Senate President at Chief Presidential Legal Counsel nitong Huwebes, Nobyembre 13.
“We say goodbye to one of the most enduring and respected public servants our country has ever known,” saad ni PBBM sa kaniyang mensahe.
Dito ay kinilala ng Pangulo ang higit limang dekadang serbisyo ni Enrile sa sambayanang Pilipino bilang politiko.
“For over 50 years, Juan Ponce Enrile dedicated his life to serving the Filipino people, helping guide the country through some of its most challenging and defining moments,” pagkilala ni PBBM.

Bilang Chief Presidential Legal Counsel niya, pinuri din ni PBBM ang katalinuhan ni Enrile, at ang puso nito na patuloy magserbisyo sa publiko.
“Even in his final years, he remained brilliant, sharp, and firm in his belief that law and governance must always serve the Filipino people,” ani ng Pangulo.
“His passing marks the close of a chapter in our nation’s history. But the mark he leaves behind in law, in governance, and in the hearts of those he served will never be forgotten,” pagsaludo pa ni PBBM.
Sa pagtatapos ng kaniyang mensahe, muli, ay nagpasalamat siya sa buhay na inialay ni Enrile para sa bayan.
“Maraming salamat, Tito Johnny. Paalam at salamat sa isang buhay na buong puso mong inalay para sa bayan,” ani PBBM.
Si Enrile ay pumanaw sa edad na 101 nito ring Nobyembre 13.
Sa kumpirmasyon ng kaniyang anak na si Katrina Ponce Enrile, malungkot nitong isiniwalat ang balita sa kaniyang social media.
"It is with profound love and gratitude that my father, Juan Ponce Enrile, peacefully returned to his Creator on November 13, 2025, at 4:21 p.m., surrounded by our family in the comfort of our home," saad niya sa kaniyang post.
