Naglabas ng paglilinaw ang Malacañang sa gitna ng kumalat na pahayag na umano’y naglabas na ng arrest warrant ang International Criminal Court (ICC) laban kay Senador Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa.
Ito ay matapos ang walong buwan sa pagkakaaresto naman kay dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ng ICC laban sa kasong crimes against humanity. Matatandaang si Dela Rosa, bago maging senador, ay naging hepe muna ng Philippine National Police (PNP) sa panahon ng administrasyon ng dating pangulo na isa umano sa mga naging "architect" ng giyera kontra droga.
Sa ipinadalang mensahe ni Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Undersecretary at Palace Press Officer Claire Castro, wala pang anumang kumpirmasyon mula sa Palasyo hinggil sa sinasabing warrant, matapos ang naunang pahayag ni Ombudsman Jesus Crispin "Boying" Remulla nitong Sabado ng umaga, Nobyembre 8, na may inilabas na umanong arrest warrant ang ICC para kay Dela Rosa.
Ayon kay Castro, abala raw ang Palasyo sa pag-aasikaso sa posibleng pananalasa ng super bagyong Uwan sa bansa.

"No confirmation. Busy sa ‘Uwan," ipinadalang mensahe ni Castro sa media.
Ayon naman sa kapatid ni Ombudsman Boying na si Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Jonvic Remulla, wala pa silang natatanggap na anumang red notice mula sa International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol).
"As per the center for transnational crimes, there has been no red notice issued by the Interpol as of 10 minutes ago," pahayag ni Sec. Jonvic sa media.

Kinumpirma rin ng Department of Justice (DOJ) na wala pang dumarating na anumang notipikasyon mula sa Interpol hinggil sa sinasabing arrest warrant.
Samantala, naglabas naman ng opisyal na pahayag ang kampo ni Dela Rosa, sa pamamagitan ng kaniyang abogadong si Atty. Israelito Torreon, kaugnay sa isyu.
"We have been made aware of circulating reports claiming that the International Criminal Court (ICC) has issued an arrest warrant against Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa."
"At this point, we do not have independent confirmation as to whether or not this information is accurate. We therefore urge the public and the media to exercise caution and restraint in sharing or interpreting such reports until verified information is officially released by competent authorities or by the ICC itself."
"If proven true, we trust that the Philippine Government will act in accordance with the rule of law, and that any such action shall first pass through the proper local judicial confirmation process consistent with our Constitution, due process, and the sovereign rights of the Republic of the Philippines."
"For now, we shall await official confirmation before making any further statement on the matter," aniya pa.
