Naglabas na ng pahayag ang kampo ni Sen. Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa kaugnay sa umugong na balitang warrant arrest sa kaniya ng International Criminal Court (ICC).
Ayon sa opisyal na pahayag ng abogado counsel ni Dela Rosa na si Atty. Israelito Torreon sa kaniyang Facebook post nitong Sabado, Nobyembre 8, sinabi niyang nakarating na raw sa kanilang ang pumutok na balita sa pagsasampa ng arrest warrant sa senador.
“We have been made aware of circulating reports claiming that the International Criminal Court (ICC) has issued an arrest warrant against Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa,” pagsisimula niya.

Ani Torreon, wala pa raw kumpirmasyon tungkol sa nasabing balita at pinaalalahanan nila ang publiko na huwag agad itong bigyang-kahulugan hangga’t hindi pa naglalabas ng opisyal na kaso ang ICC.
“At this point, we do not have independent confirmation as to whether or not this information is accurate. We therefore urge the public and the media to exercise caution and restraint in sharing or interpreting such reports until verified information is officially released by competent authorities or by the ICC itself,” giit niya.
Pagpapatuloy pa niya, kung sakali mang mapatunayang totoo ito, may tiwala raw sila sa Pamahalaan na susundin ang mga nakasaad sa Konstitusyon.
“If proven true, we trust that the Philippine Government will act in accordance with the rule of law, and that any such action shall first pass through the proper local judicial confirmation process consistent with our Constitution, due process, and the sovereign rights of the Republic of the Philippines,” ‘ika ni Torreon.
“For now, we shall await official confirmation before making any further statement on the matter,” pagtatapos pa niya.
