Nagbigay-pugay ang Philippine Army (PA) sa mga yumaong sundalo na kinikilala ring “fallen heroes” sa pamamagitan ng wreath-laying at candle lighting sa Libingan ng mga Bayani (LNMB) noong Biyernes, Oktubre 31.
Ang seremonya, sa pangunguna ni Commanding General Philippine Army (CGPA) Lt. Gen. Antonio G. Nafarrete, ay pagbibigay-pugay sa mga sundalo, national artist, scientist, at mga dating pangulo na nag-alay ng kanilang buhay para sa kapakanan ng bansa.
“May their light remind us that darkness will never prevail where courage, faith, and unity burn bright. The light we hold today must not fade after this ceremony. We must carry it in our hearts, in our actions, in our service, and in the way we treat one another as Filipinos.” saad ni PA Support Command (SPTCOM, PA) Acting Commander Maj. Gen. Florante P. Sison sa kaniyang talumpati.
Ayon sa Grave Services Unit ng Philippine Army Support Command (GSU, SPTCOM), mahigit-kumulang 320 uniformed personnel ang nagbigay-assistance sa tinatayang 90,000 panauhin at patron na dumalo sa seremonya.
Misis, sinaksak ng mister sa leeg
Ang nasabing security unit ay binubuo ng PA, Explosive Ordnance Disposal/Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (EOD, CBRN) personnel, Philippine Air Force (PAF), Philippine Navy and the Philippine Marine Corps, Philippine National Police,Bureau of Fire Protection, at Taguig City Traffic Management Office.
