Nagpaabot ng mensahe ng paggunita si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. para sa pagdaraos ng Araw ng mga Patay at Araw ng mga Kaluluwa sa bansa.
“Every November, we dedicate the first two days of the month to a solemn pause to pray, reflect, and recall the many people whose deeds and presence continue to be felt long after their passing,” saad ni PBBM bilang panimula sa kaniyang mensahe.
Binanggit niya rin rito na sa pagdarasal para sa mga kaluluwang yumao, ginugunita ng mga kaanak na naiwan ang kanilang mga alaala.
“Every act of remembrance carries a greater meaning; to pray is to enter communion with our saints and deceased loved ones; to light a candle is to bind our conscience with their legacy, and to lay flowers to pledge to uphold their mission,” aniya.

Sa pamamagitan rin daw ng mga okasyong ito, pinaalalahanan ang mga Pinoy na matapos ang buhay na ito may paraiso na naghihintay sa kabilang-buhay, kung saan malaya na ang bawat isa sa mga paghihirap at mga sakit.
“These occasions remind us of the paradise that awaits in the hereafter–where poverty, pain, and suffering no longer hold purchase, and where the Lord Almighty resides in splendor here on earth,” pagtbibigay-alwan ng Pangulo.
Sa pagtatapos ng mensahe ni PBBM, hinikayat niya ang mga Pinoy na patuloy gunitain ang mga alaala ng mga namayapa bilang lakas.
“Let the Philippines strive to be that lamp upon a hill where people carry the memory of the dead as strength, the witness of the saints as guide, and the hope of a permanent dwelling as purpose until time itself bows before eternity,” saad niya.
“I wish everyone a solemn and meaningful observance,” dagdag pa niya sa pagtatapos ng kaniyang mensahe.
