Pinalagan ni GMA Network TV host Kuya Kim Atienza ang komento ng isang netizen sa kaniyang kamakailang social media post na nagbibigay tribute sa namayapang anak na si Emman Atienza.
Sa nasabing TikTok reel na nagpapakita ng video ni Emman sa isang recording studio room, ay tila nagpangaral ang netizen tungkol sa Bibliya at pananampalataya sa comment section.
“This is a common issue–many people misinterpret Scripture to fit their own narratives,” panimula nito.
“But let’s be clear: God did not take her life–she made that choice herself. If you are truly in Christ, the Holy Spirit will convict you to repent for the ways you may have fallen short as a parent. This is an open rebuke. You were meant to be her primary protector, teacher, and guide,” saad niya pa.

Idinagdag din ng netizen na sa kasamaang-palad, naiwan daw si Emman ng walang suporta mula sa kaniyang mga magulang.
“Tragically, she was left without the support she needed from the one who was supposed to be her anchor. Proverbs 22:6 says, ‘train up a child in the way he should go even when he is old, he will not depart from it.’ [I]t’s a message from God to all the parents [that] failing to do so is a sin,” aniya pa.
Dito ay sinagot naman ni Kuya Kim ang netizen at tinawag itong “evangelical bully.”
“You are an evangelical bully. [My] [E]mman did not make that choice as clearly as you make choices. My [E]mman was clinically depressed,” saad ng GMA TV host.
Dahil dito, hindi rin napigilan ng ilan netizens na sumagot sa nasabing komento bilang pakikisimpatya kay Kuya Kim.
“Your comment is not helping. Have more compassion, please.”
“‘Yong iba kasi basta na lang makapag-share ng Bible, napaka-righteous, nawawala na ang empathy and compassion.”
“This is not the right time to preach. Show some compassion and kindness.”
“Wow. This is not the place nor time to correct someone. Let people grieve. You are so out of touch.”
Sa kaugnay na ulat, inanunsyo ni Kuya Kim ang pagpanaw ng anak na si Emman sa kaniyang Instagram noong Biyernes, Oktubre 24.
