Nagbigay ng pahayag ang WR Numero Research na hindi umano maaaring sabihing Generation Z o Gen Z ang nagpanalo kina Sen. Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan at Sen. Bam Aquino sa nakaraang eleksyon.
Ayon ito sa naging panayam ng Long Conversation sa One News kay Dr. Robin Michael Garcia, political scientist, professor, at Chairman ng WR Numero Research, noong Miyerkules, Oktubre 22.
“Hindi natin puwedeng sabihin na necessarily kaya nanalo sina Bam at nanalo si Kiko ay dahil sa Gen Z or youth vote,” pagsisimula ni Garcia.
Pagpapatuloy pa ni Garcia, hindi pa makukumpirma ang ideyang ito dahil ayon daw sa datos nila, aabot umano sa 40% ang mga pro Duterte na Gen Z.

“It’s still a hypothetical, unconfirmed hypothesis. In fact, the data tell us otherwise na 31 percent, in fact more, the 36 percent—almost 40 percent of the Gen Z, of the youth are pro Duterte if the election were held today,” paliwanag pa niya.
Dagdag ni Garcia, may malaking parte sa kabuuang bilang ng mga kabataan ang sumusuporta sa mga Duterte.
“Therefore, the factional partisanship currently, a huge part of it, are still supporting the Duterte collision[...],” saad niya.
“Ang lesson diyan, hindi homogeneous itong Gen Z vote,” pagtatapos pa ni Garcia.
