Pinangunahan ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos at First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos ang pagbubukas ng Phase 4 ng Pasig Bigyang Buhay Muli (PBBM) Project nitong Linggo, Oktubre 19, sa Lawton Pasig River Ferry Station, sa Maynila.
“Every time we gather here by the Pasig River, we are reminded that progress does not always mean building something new. Sometimes, progress means bringing something beautiful back to life,” panimula ni PBBM sa kaniyang talumpati.
Pitong buwan lamang matapos ang paglulunsad ng Phase 3 ng PBBM sa unang bahagi ng taon, ang Phase 4 ay magtutuon sa mga walkway, bike lane, komersyal na espasyo at mga tulay.
Ang Phase 4 ay magkokonekta rin sa konstruksyon ng Phase 1A sa Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) hanggang sa Arroceros Park.

“Sikat na sikat nang pasyalan ang mga natapos na bahagi ng proyektong ito. Tignan niyo po sa Instagram, sa TikTok, sa Facebook, marami na pong nagpo-post na bumibisita rito,” masayang pagbabahagi ng Pangulo sa progreso ng proyekto.

Katulad din ng mga naunang phase, ang Phase 4 ay bukas din sa mga small and medium business (SME) sa layong matulungan ang mga negosyante na mas mapagyabong pa ang kanilang pangkabuhayan.
Para naman daw sa mga komundad na maaapektuhan ng konstruksyon ng Phase 4, tiniyak ni PBBM ang maayos na relocation ng 63 informal settlers sa kanilang mga bagong bahay sa Naic, Cavite.
“To ensure the welfare of the affected communities, we have safely relocated 63 informal settler families into their new homes in Naic, Cavite, where they can have better access to services and to start afresh,” pagtitiyak ng Pangulo.
Kasabay ang muling pagbibigay-buhay sa Ilog Pasig, sisimulan din ng administrasyong Marcos ang mga makabago at mas environment-friendly na paraan ng transportasyon sa lungsod.
“As we continue to bring life to Pasig River, we are also offering new ways to travel in a more sustainable way,” saad ng Pangulo.
Isa na rito ang paglulunsad ng M/B Dalaray ng Department of Science and Technology (DOST) na isang solar-powered e-passenger ferry, na aarangkada sa darating na Nobyembre, at ang solar-powered, AI-enabled robotic vessel na tumutulong sa paglilinis ng ilog.

“This marks a clear step towards clean mobility and reduced emissions,” dagdag pa niya.
Bagama’t maraming bagay pa raw ang dapat gawin, patuloy pa rin na gumagalaw ang administrasyon sa lakas na ibinibigay ni FL Liza kay PBBM.
“There’s still much to be done, but we’re still consistently moving. Especially with the help of our most industrious and non-stop, energizer bunny, the First Lady,” pagkilala ni PBBM kay FL Liza.
“Because of her vision and dedication, this Pasig Bigyan Buhay Muli Project was named, one of the recipients of the 2025 Asian Townscape Award by the UN (United Nations) Habitat for its sustainable urban development work, congratulations,” dagdag-pagkilala pa ng Pangulo.
“Let us keep this river flowing with hope, with life, and with pride. Mabuhay ang Ilog Pasig, mabuhay ang bagong Pilipinas,” saad ni PBBM sa pagtatapos ng kaniyang talumpati.
