Naglabas ng bagong tala ang Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) kaugnay sa Labor Force survey para sa buwan ng Agosto 2025.
Ayon ito sa ibinahagi ng PSA sa kanilang website nitong Miyerkules, Oktubre 8, 2025.
Anang PSA, bumaba umano sa mahigit tatlong porsyento (3%) ang unemployment rate sa bansa nitong Agosto 2025 kumpara sa tala nila noong Agosto 2024 at Hulyo 2025.
“The country’s unemployment rate dropped to 3.9 percent in August 2025, from 4.0 percent in August 2024 and in July 2025 at 5.3 percent,” anang PSA.
“In terms of magnitude, the number of unemployed individuals in August 2025 was posted at 2.03 million, lower than the number of unemployed individuals in August last year at 2.07 million and in July 2025 at 2.59 million,” paglilinaw pa nila.
Pagdaragdag din ng PSA, tumaas umano sa 65.1% ang labor force participation rate (LFPR) ng mga Pilipinong may edad 15 pataas na mayroon at walang trabaho nitong Agosto.
“Persons in the labor force consist of those aged 15 years and over who are either employed or unemployed,” saad nila. “In August 2025, the labor force participation rate (LFPR) rose to 65.1 percent, from 64.8 percent in August of the previous year and in July 2025 at 60.7 percent.”
Sumatotal, aabot sa 52.13 milyon ang bilang ng mga Pilipinong may edad 15 pataas na kasama sa labor force ng bansa nitong Agosto 2025 kumpara sa 51.22 milyon noong Agosto 2024 at 48.64 milyon noong Hulyo 2025.
“The estimated LFPR in August 2025 translates to a total of 52.13 million Filipinos aged 15 years and over who were in the labor force. In August 2024, the number of individuals aged 15 years old and over who were in the labor force was 51.22 million, while 48.64 million in July 2025.” paliwanag ng PSA.
Samantala, tumaas naman umano ang bilang ng mga Pilipinong may trabaho sa 50.10 milyon nitong Agosto 2025 kumpara sa 49.15 milyon noong Agosto 2024 at 46.05 milyon noong Hulyo 2025.
“The employment rate in August 2025 was estimated at 96.1 percent. This was higher than the recorded rate in August 2024 at 96.0 and in July 2025 at 94.7 percent.”
“In terms of levels, the number of employed persons in August 2025 increased to 50.10 million from 49.15 million in August 2024 and 46.05 million in July 2025,” ayon pa sa PSA.
