Tila kumpiyansa pa rin umano si Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III na nananatiling suportado siya ng mga senador na miyembro ng majority bloc sa Senado.
Ayon sa isinagawang press briefing ni Sotto nitong Lunes, Oktubre 6, 2025, sinabi niyang “quite confident” pa rin umano siya na nagkakasundo sila ng mga senador sa nasabing bloc.
“I’m quite confident,” saad ni Sotto.
“But as usual, any senator who is elected to any leadership only serves at the pleasure of your colleagues,” paglilinaw pa niya.

Pagpapatuloy pa ni Sotto, maayos naman umano ang liderato niya sa Senado.
“As far as I am concerned and as far as I know now, I’m quite confident that we are stable and the leadership of the Senate is well in place,” anang Senate President.
Sinagot din ni Sotto ang naging usap-usapan noon na gustong kumalas ni Sen. JV Ejercito bilang miyembro ng mayorya.
“Paulit-ulit si Jv, noong araw pa niyang sinasabi yan na ‘rehas’ daw yan, e. He was interviewed and quoted that, I think two (2) weeks ago[...]
“But after that I explained what the insertion and the amendments are, and how it is really placed in the budget[...] he settled down,” paggigiit niya.
Ani ni Sotto, nakasisiguro umano siya na papabulaanan ni Ejercito kung tatanungin man siya ngayon tungkol sa plano niyang pagkalas bilang miyembro ng majority bloc.
“So the issue that is being placed in social media and in some mainstream media reports about Senator JV, I am very sure that he will deny it now,” ayon kay Sotto.
Saad pa ni Sotto, “In fact, I was on the phone with him yesterday telling about [sa] plano ni Senator Lacson, and he was quite worried[...]”
Samantala, nilinaw ni Sotto na walang sinomang miyembro ng majority bloc ang may balak umanong kumalas sa kanilang puwesto.
