Nanawagan ng pagkakaisa si Cebu Governor Pam Baricuatro sa kaniyang mga nasasakupan matapos tumama ang 6.9 magnitude na lindol sa nasabing probinsiya.
Sa latest Facebook post ni Baricuatro nitong Lunes, Oktubre 6, sinabi niyang hindi umano nakikipagkompetensya ang pronvicial government ng Cebu.
“We are here to support you — every LGU, every town, every city — so that we can bring relief, rebuilding, and recovery to every barangay as quickly and effectively as possible,” saad ni Baricuatro.
Kaya naman hinimok niyang magpaabot ng nakakatulong na puna hinggil sa aksyon ng pamahalaan.

Aniya, “Please advise us directly rather than airing concerns on social media. Your insights help us improve and respond better to the needs of our communities.”
Dagdag pa ng gobernadora, “In this time of need and turmoil, political divisions have no place. We must stand together, putting the people first. We reject attempts to divide us and reject anyone who preaches division over service.”
Matatandaang umabot na sa 71 ang kabuuang bilang ng mga namatay bunsod ng lindol batay sa ulat ng National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) noong Linggo, Oktubre 5.
