Naglabas ng pahayag ang pamahalaang lungsod ng Valenzuela kaugnay sa mga reklamong natatanggap ng mga mag-aaral ng Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Valenzuela (PLV).
Sa latest Facebook post ng Valenzuela noong Sabado, Setyembre 27, sinabi nilang dadalhin umano nila sa Ethics Committee at Audit Team ang imbestigasyon.
“We strongly encourage concerned students to come forward and file formal complaints so that testimonies and evidence can be properly documented,” saad ng city government.
“All submissions will be treated with the highest degree of confidentiality to protect your rights, safety, and dignity,” pagpapatuloy nila.

Dagdag pa rito, “The PLV community can be assured that the investigation will be thorough, impartial, and transparent, covering not only the NSTP issues on financial accountability and student welfare, but also the equally important concerns on student repression and academic freedom with the same commitment to truth, fairness, and independence.”
Ayon kay Valenzuela City Mayor Wes Gatchalian, nag-ugat umano ito sa sunod-sunod na mensahe, tags, at mentions na natanggap niya mula mismo sa mga estudyante ng PLV.
“May mga dokumento ring kumakalat hinggil sa diumano’y pagpigil sa kanilang kalayaang magsalita at sa iba pang uri ng represyon sa loob ng institusyon,” dugtong pa niya.
Kaya naman sineseryoso umano niya ang tungkol sa naturang bagay kasabay ng paghingi ng kooperasyon upang mas malinaw na matugunan ang mga hinaing.
