Binabalak ni Cavite 4th district Rep. Kiko Barzaga na palitan umano sa puwesto bilang House Speaker si Leyte 1st District Rep. Martin Romualdez.
"I am going to take Speaker Romualdez's speakership," ani Barzaga sa panayam sa media nitong Martes, Setyembre 16.
"And I hope Majority Leader Sandro Marcos won’t hold it against me and won’t stand in my way. Thank you, everyone," dagdag pa niya.
Giit pa niya, nakakakuha na raw siya ng suporta.

“We are getting the numbers. We have one now, maybe two if we’re lucky, but we will win," anang mambabatas. "Almost lahat sa plenary nakausap ko na—mixed reactions. Some are open to it, some are supportive, and some wish to continue supporting Speaker Romualdez."
"We will see. As soon as we have the numbers, I will immediately announced it," aniya pa nang matanong kung kailan ito mangyayari.
Matatandaang kamakailan ay kinumpirma ni Barzaga ang pag-alis niya sa House Majority Bloc matapos umano siyang iugnay na nagpapatalsik kay Romualdez.
