Nilinaw ni Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin na nananatili pa rin umanong matatag ang pamahalaan sa kabila ng pag-ugong ng malawakang isyu ng korapsyon.
Sa panayam sa kaniya ng media nitong Miyerkules, Setyembre 10, 2025, iginiit niyang “stable” pa rin daw ang gobyerno.
“Very, very stable because alam mo ‘yan, internal dynamics lang ‘yan, normal sa atin ‘yan. There were eras or periods in our history that there were more supposedly perceived to be destabilizing,” ani Bersamin.
Wala rin daw siyang nakikitang banta dahil sa pagpapatuloy ng mga imbestigasyon.

“I don't see any threats... I don't see any obstacles yet, because these are still resource persons speaking. So I will leave the dynamics diyan sa dalawang houses of Congress because that is outside of our purview,” saad ni Bersamin.
Sa kabila nito, aminado rin daw si Bersamin na “concern” siya sa mga naisisiwalat sa pagpapatuloy ng pagdinig sa isyu ng flood control projects at mga umano’y sangkot ditong tiwaling opisyal.
“You don't need to ask me that kasi, like any other citizen, I am also concerned. I will just leave it first to the bodies that are doing the investigation,” anang Executive Secretary.
Bago nito, matatandaang nauna nang nagpatutsada ang Executive Secretary laban sa Kamara hinggil sa umano’y sisihang nangyayari sa malawakang korapsyon kaugnay din sa pagkakasa ng national budget.
"The Members of the Cabinet will not tolerate any attack on the integrity and reputation of the Executive Branch, and any effort to hold the budget process hostage by political theatrics," saad ng pahayag.
"We urge the House of Representatives to heed the demand of the people for full accountability: CLEAN YOUR HOUSE FIRST!"
Matatandaang nahaharap sa mga alegasyon ng korapsyon ang Kamara kaugnay ng isyu ng flood control projects. Ibinabato rin sa kanilang institusyon ang umano’y budget insertion nito sa national budget na napunta lang daw sa palpak at ghost projects sa iba't ibang panig ng bansa.
