Bukod sa kaniyang "Outfit of the Day" o OOTD patungkong Hong Kong, nagbiro pa ulit ang batikang broadcast journalist na si Korina Sanchez-Roxas hinggil sa pamosong palasyong matatagpuan at dinadayo sa Hong Kong Disneyland.

Sa Instagram post ni Korina nitong Sabado, Agosto 23, ibinida ni Korina ang paglalamyerda niya sa "happiest place on Earth."

"My P10 Million Palace. Joke," hirit ni Koring.

Para kay Korina, ang "happiest place" daw ay pagkakaroon ng peace of mind sa gitna ng "ignorant hate."

TUNGKOL SAAN ANG "₱10M?"

Matatandaang lumikha ng ingay sa social media ang pagsagot ng batikang broadcast journalist patungkol sa kontrobersiyal na Facebook post ni Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto, tungkol sa journalists na umano'y tumatanggap ng bayad kapalit ng panayam.

Matatandaang bagama't walang binanggit o tinukoy na pangalan si Sotto, pumalag naman dito sina Korina at kapwa broadcast journalist na si Julius Babao, dahil ang inilakip na larawan sa post ay screenshots ng naging magkahiwalay na panayam ng dalawa, kina Sarah at Curlee Discaya.

Sa mga nabanggit na panayam, itinampok ang naging "from-rags-to-riches" na naging buhay ng mag-asawa, nang pasukin na nila ang pagiging contractor ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

Kaugnay nito, naglabas naman ng opisyal na pahayag ang mga producer ng programa ni Korina at pinabulaanan ang mga alegasyon ni Mayor Vico, na kaugnay sa ₱10M na tinanggap umano ng ilang mamamahayag.

“Yes, Mayor Sotto, there are payments for certain businesses such as that of the Discayas, products, personalities, companies or politicians much like payments made for advertisements — and these go to the network with an official receipt issued to the client,” saad ng programa sa isang pahayagan.

Dagdag pa nila, “There is no such thing as a P10 million placement for an interview. It is irresponsible to even say such, to say the least. As your malice is posted on Facebook and publicly besmirches the reputation of Ms. Sanchez, this clearly constitutes cyber libel.”

Anila pa, maituturong umanong “slanderous” na sabihing iresponsable ang programa dahil ang ineere lang umano nito ay ang mga bayad na interbyu.

“Who are we to presume our interviewees as evil with no basis or evidence long before they come into controversy? Are we also to presume you are guilty of overpricing the construction of government buildings just because your opponent thinks so? Are we to automatically deduce you are grandstanding at the expense of others because this is your last term and are planning to run for higher office?” dugtong pa nila.
