Pinatatanggal na ng Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) sa mga gaming licensees, operators, suppliers, at system administrators ang mga billboard na nag-eendorso ng sugal.
Ayon kay PAGCOR Chairman at CEO Alejandro H. Tengco noon pang Lunes, Hulyo 7, nila inatasan ang mga gaming operators tungkol sa naturang direktiba.
“We have given all our licensees and stakeholders until August 15 to completely remove all gambling-related ads,” saad ni Tengco sa isang pahayag nitong BIyernes, Hulyo 11.
Ang naturang kautusan ay sumasaklaw sa static at digital advertising materials na nagpro-promote ng pagsusugal. Kabilang nga sa nabanggit ay mga ad na nakikita sa mga tren, bus, jeepney, at taxi.

Gayunman, papayagan pa rin ang mga "institutional or responsible gaming campaigns," ngunit ito ay subject to approval na ng PAGCOR.
“While Pagcor is mandated to regulate the gaming industry and generate revenues for nation-building, we do not want to encourage a culture of gambling addiction,” saad ni Tengco.
Dagdag pa niya, “regulating excessive and pervasive gambling advertisements is a critical step in protecting vulnerable sectors of society, especially the youth.”
