Pumirma ng Donation agreement ang Philippine Embassy in New Zealand at Auckland University of Technology (AUT) para ipatayo ang Philippine Studies Hub sa naturang unibersidad.
Ayon sa Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) nitong Biyernes, Hulyo 4, nilalayon umano ng studies hub na mailangkap ang maka-Filipinong pananaw sa edukasyong mainstream, public policy, at public discourse sa New Zealand.
“The Filipino presence is growing, and it’s vital that New Zealanders, not just Filipinos, learn more about the Philippines in all its dimensions: culture, economy, history, and politics,” saad ni Philippine Ambassador to New Zealand Kira Christianne D. Azucena.
Sabi naman ni AUT Vice Chancellor Professor Damon Salesa, “This is a step toward building meaningful partnerships with the Philippines, supporting both scholarship and our shared future.”
