Naglabas na rin ng pahayag ang Caritas Philippines kaugnay sa impeachment trial laban kay Vice President Sara Duterte.
Sa latest Facebook post ng Caritas PH nitong Sabado, Hunyo 7, sinabi nilang hindi dapat naaantala ang pagsisimula ng impeachment trial.
“We call on our leaders to act with the highest sense of urgency. Let us be reminded that ‘Justice delayed is justice denied,’” saad ng Caritas.
Bukod dito, iginiit din ng organisasyon na dapat umanong nakasandig lamang sa katotohanan at due process sa nasabing paglilitis at hindi sa personal at politikal na ganansya.

Anila, “The ultimate goal must always be the concern for the welfare of the Filipino people—especially the poor, the marginalized, and those whose voices are often unheard.”
“Let this be a time for our leaders to show moral courage, for our institutions to stand firm in justice, and for all citizens to demand accountability rooted in compassion and truth,” dugtong pa ng Caritas.
Sa huli, nanawagan ang organisasyon sa publiko na maging mapagmatyag at ipanalanging magsilbing daan ang kabanatang ito para sa tunay na kapayapaan, mabuting pamamahala, at mas makatarungang lipunan.
