Tila hindi inasahan ni Vice President Sara Duterte ang resulta sa partial at unofficial tally ng 2025 midterm elections kung saan tatlo lamang sa inendorso niyang DuterTEN ang nakapasok sa "magic 12."
Ito'y sina Bong Go, Bato Dela Rosa, at Rodante Marcoleta. Bagama't hindi opisyal na kabahagi ng DuterTen, pasok naman sa magic 12 sina Imee Marcos at Camille Villar na parehong inendorso ng bise presidente.
"I acknowledge the results of the election and express my deep gratitude to all the supporters who stood with us throughout this journey.
"While the outcome was not what we had hoped for, our commitment to the people remains unwavering. We will continue to hold the government accountable, advocate for the issues that matter, and work tirelessly to serve as a strong and constructive opposition," saad ni Duterte sa isang pahayag nitong Lunes ng gabi, Mayo 12.

Binigyang-diin niya na hindi nagtatapos sa naturang resulta ang laban.
