Ibinahagi ng Kapuso star na si Carla Abellana na nakaranas siya ng "scam" ng rider ng isang food delivery app, na mababasa sa kaniyang post sa "Threads" noong Huwebes, Mayo 8.
Aniya, "I just got scammed by a foodpanda_ph Rider. Not only did he fail to deliver our paid order, but a supposed second Rider called me to say he was delivering our order but i needed to pay COD. Huwow."
Umani naman ito ng iba't ibang reaksiyon at komento mula sa netizens.
"I’ve had bad experiences with Foodpanda recently. First, my order was already paid, but when my brother picked it up, he accidentally gave cash to the rider. (Note that riders are informed which orders are already paid.) Unfortunately, the rider still took the money. Another one is when I ordered again via Zus Coffee app. A rider was assigned, but after waiting for an hour, he canceled the order, and once again, it was already paid."

"Yikes. Ang dami ng scam ng foodpanda_ph that i see on the socials. I have stopped using them for years, i only tried pre-pandemic when i was still working onsite in Makati - i use them to deliver my food cravings but I find the competitor's services better so I deleted their app and never looked back. Sana their mgmt do something about all these fraudulent activities, nadadamay those that are honest and earnest in their services."
