Sa Facebook post ni Wendell kamakailan, sinabi niya ang dahilan sa likod ng pag-atras niya sa tinakbuhang posisyon.

“After careful consideration and heartfelt discussions with my family, manager, and network, I have made the difficult decision to discontinue my campaign due to prior work commitments and family matters,” saad ni Wendell.

Dagdag pa niya, “I am deeply grateful to everyone who supported me, welcomed me, and believed in my programs even before I filed my withdrawal. Your trust and encouragement mean more than words can express.”
