Naglabas ng pahayag ang Philippine Embassy in The Netherlands tungkol sa kalagayan ni dating Executive Secretary Atty. Salvador Medialdea nitong Martes, Marso 18, matapos mapaulat na isinakay siya sa ambulasya.
Mababasa sa kanilang opisyal na Facebook page, "Atty. Salvador Medialdea went to the ICC Detention Center early this morning, 18 March, for a scheduled visit to former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
Dagdag pa, "While registering at the reception counter at around 8:55 AM, Atty Medialdea fell ill. An Embassy official, who accompanied him to the Detention Center, immediately called for medical attention, which was provided by a Detention Center medic."
"An ambulance was called which brought Atty. Medialdea to a Hague area hospital where he is currently receiving treatment."

"A close relative of Atty. Medialdea is also at the hospital," sa pagtatapos.
Nagbibigay rin ng update tungkol sa kaniya ang kasamang si Sen. Robin Padilla.
Ayon sa ulat ng GMA News, inilabas si Medialdea mula sa detention facility na nakasakay sa stretcher at isinakay umano sa isang ambulansya pasado alas-9 ng umaga (oras sa Netherlands).
