Nagsumite ng petisyon sa Supreme Court (SC) si Vice President Sara Duterte laban sa ikaapat niyang impeachment case.

Ayon kay SC spokesperson Atty. Camille Ting, natanggap nila ang petisyon para sa temporary restraining order at writ of preliminary injunction na isinumite ng kampo ni VP Sara noong Martes, Pebrero 18, 2025.

“By doing so, respondent House of Representatives deliberately circumvented and violated the One-Year Bar, and ran roughshod over and made a mockery of the procedures under the Constitution and the House Rules on Impeachment, not only compromising the integrity of the impeachment proceedings, but demonstrating that all of these is nothing more than a political maneuver,” saad ng nasabing petisyon. 

Pinuna rin ni VP Sara na tila “na-freeze” umano ang unang tatlong impeachment cases na isinampa laban sa kaniya bunsod ng naging mabilis na pag-usad ng ikaapat na impeachment complaint.

Matatandaang inimpeach na ng House of Representatives si Vice President Sara Duterte matapos pirmahan ng 215 na miyembro nito ang ikaapat na impeachment complaint.
