Si Miss Universe 2013 3rd runner-up at aktres na si Ariella “Ara” Arida na ang hahawak sa posisyon ng pagiging national director ng Miss Universe Philippines (MUPh) Organization.
Si Arida na ang sumunod sa yapak nina Miss Universe 2011 3rd runner-up Shamcey Supsup-Lee at MUPh president Jonas Gaffud.
Sa kaniyang talumpati sa kaniyang pagkakatalaga sa bagong posisyon ay nagpasalamat si Arida sa mga nagtiwala sa kaniyang kakayahan.
"Oh my God! Actually, I didn't prepare my speech, but I prepared my dress,” biro pa ni Arida.

“I know I have big shoes to fill but everyone knows that even from how Miss Universe Philippines started, I was there looking at them, I still get to talk with them, so I'm still involved on what's happening, and I supported them from the very start."
