Todo-pasasalamat ang misis ni “Eat Bulaga” host Vic Sotto na si Pauleen Luna matapos ipag-utos ng Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court ang pag-”delete, take down, and remove” sa teaser ng pelikula ni Darryl Yap na “The Rapists of Pepsi Paloma.”
Matatandaang binanggit ang pangalan ni Vic sa nasabing teaser na naging dahilan para magsampa siya ng kasong 19 counts of cyber libel laban kay Yap.

Sa latest Instagram post ni Pauleen nitong Lunes, Enero 27, sinabi niyang ang pagkawaging ito sa kaso ay para sa kaniyang anak at pamilya.
“This victory is for our children and family, and we humbly lift our gratitude to Almighty God,” saad ni Pauleen. “Let this be a reminder that our words and actions have great power, and that kindness and integrity should always guide us.
“Please, let us all be mindful and responsible about posting/sharing malicious content about people,” dugtong pa niya.
Sa huli, hinimok ni Pauleen ang publiko na kumilos nang may kabutihan, integridad, at respeto upang iangat ang kapuwa sa halip na makapagdulot ng pinsala.
Samantala, bagama’t ipinag-utos na tanggalin ang teaser sa iba’t ibang social media platform, hindi naman pinigilan ng korte si Yap sa pagpapalabas ng pelikula nito.
“The Court cannot suppress the entire film, as it is based on the life story of Pepsi Paloma where the respondent secured the consent of the mother and brother, derived from public records like newspaper clippings, footage and is protected by artistic freedom and public interest,” pahayag ng korte.
