Naglabas ng pahayag si Metro Manila Film Festival spokesperson Noel Ferrer kaugnay sa lumulutang na mga intriga at espekulasyon ng umano’y dayaan sa ginanap na 2024 MMFF Gabi ng Parangal.
Sa isang Facebook post ni Noel nitong Sabado, DIsyembre 28, tiniyak niyang dumaan sa masusing proseso ng pagpili ang mga artista at pelikulang nagwagi.
“YOU MAY AGREE OR DISAGREE WITH THEIR CHOICES … but the integrity of each and every member of the Jury since we took charge in 2016, especially on this 50th Edition of the MMFF cannot be assailed,” saad ni Noel.
“They have exhaustively deliberated and decided on the nominees and the winners from 9am-4:30pm yesterday… No leaks, definitely no cooking show… only the Jury Chair and the MMFF Executive Director knew the results, not even I or any member of the Execom,” aniya.

Dagdag pa ng spokesperson, “Rest assured, there was due process and the judgment was fair and sound AND FINAL!!”
Matatandaang matapos ianunsiyo ang mga nanalo sa Gabi ng Parangal ay maraming nagsulputang tanong kung bakit hindi naisama kahit sa nominasyon man lang ang ang ilang casts ng “Uninvited” tulad nina Aga Muhlach at Vilma Santos.
