Tumabla bilang Movie of the Year ang 2022 drama film na “Family Matters” na pinagbidahan nina Noel Trinidad at Liza Lorena, at ang makasaysayang action film na “Mamasapano: Now It Can Be Told” tampok sina Edu Manzano, Aljur Abrenica, at Paolo Gumabao. Ang mga direktor nito, sina Nuel Naval at Lester Dimaranan, ay kapwa itinanghal na Movie Directors of the Year.
Nakakuha naman ng tatlong parangal ang indie horror film na “Livescream” na pinagbidahan ni Elijah Canlas, kabilang ang Indie Movie Production Designer of the Year (Carmela Danao), Indie Movie Sound Engineer of the Year (Fatima Nerikka Salim at Immanuel Verona), at Indie Movie Editor of the Year (Lawrence Ang).
